Bait well / Wash Down Flush?
Hey guys I noticed that I have to run the pumps a good 5 min to get the water flowing nicely. I am docked all the time in saltwater and am curious if theres a way to flush these systems as I do the engine. I learned that they build up stag net much water in the system the wrong way, killed a lot of baitfish and stunk up the boat hosing the floor down 3 miles out. Thanks in advance

i would spray the washdown hose at the dock while the motor is warming up prior to getting underway . the washdown pump is centrifugal and cannot be drained without disconnecting the hoses to it. same thing with livewell--add water with drain tube out so the stagnant water in hoses can drain prior to adding bait would be what i would do if i have my boat in the water at all times
