Thanksgiving week camping with the 215

We spent a couple of days camping last week and I towed the boat along just in case I could get her in the water. The lake levels here are very low and most of the boat ramps can't accomodate much more than a john boat . When I showed up at the campgrounds with my 215 you should have seen the looks we got. The park manager said I wouldn't be able to launch that "battleship" here so I smiled and said I guess she'll sit on the trailer then. After setting up camp I towed the boat over to the ramp and it seemed like all eyes were on me as I backed her down the ramp. As she hit the water I kept hopping and sure enough she floated!!! The depth finder read 1.8' through the channel to the dock, no problem trimmed her up and backed her to the dock. Called the wife on the cell phone and told her to bring the kids and dogs, lets go for a boat ride.
Just another reason I love our 215! I can fish offshore, drift the flats or drop her in shallow lakes!

Didn't do any fishing but we enjoyed the scenery.
