190DC Taking on some water

I just bought a 2004 190DC about two months ago, and the thing seems to be taking on water. I have checked the plugs in the back, and those two don't seem to be the problem. I do notice a lot of water coming out of the front two plugs when I pull the boat onto the trailer.

Has anyone else had this problem with the 190? Are there any fixes for it?

Thanks.

Eric

I had a similar problem and had to re chalk the live well intake under the rear of the boat. First, put plugs on boat and fill hull with water. Look for leaks on dty concrete. Still get water in front bow compartments somehow. Ready to silicone that up soon!

Do a search on leaks on 190's. Could be numerous ways to get a leak.....one is to also check your thru hull on the transom for the bilge and make sure it is above the water line....check other thru hulls by plugging and adding water while on the trailer. Makse sure all bait well etc hoses are clamped/not leaking by running with water.
Trial and error mostly....and don't use silicone.....Rule Elastomeric only if you want watertight adhesion.
Good luck, Molar
