I have been trying to figure this out for awhile and now since I have one that is a group 27, I would like to make this one Battery #1 on my Perko switch, but how can I identify which one is #1 when the switch is on 1?...thanks.

Most likely the easiest way is to disconnect one battery and then try the different positions on the switch to see which one has power. That should tell you which one is hooked up to which position. I hope this helps.
