Randy, I will try to find the drawings for the lift mod and the pictures. One problem with the mod is that the lift is trying to float when it is on the bottom of the water, probably too much wood. Also want area should the lift mod be placed on the web site.

We have some options on where to list modifications information on the site. I just created a new forum called "Modifications". You can start a thread there and attach photos in the thread. Or if it is a pretty involved process you could create an "Article" as OspreyVic did today and post it in the articles section. (Anyone that wants to submit and article just email me the Word or Text file and your photos and I'll format and post the Article for you). Or a third option if it is a simple modification and you have photos is to list it in the Photos section with a description under each image. If more than one image you might want to name them "boatlift_mod_1, boatlift_mod_2, etc." so it will be obvious that they are connected. I think option one will be the best solution for most modifications though and the simplest.

Hey Barry, that's great! Can you save it as an Adobe pdf document? If not let me know what file format you can save it in and just email it to me at randy@triumphowners.org. I'll find a way to translate it into something we can post and everyone can see. pdf documents are great because they can't be edited easily and Adobe has a free pdf reader program on their website for anyone to access.

Thumbs up Thanks to Barry for the schematic!

Barry has done an incredible job of creating a schematic of the wiring layout for a 210. I've attached it as a .pdf and a .jpg image file. Barry, anything you want to add? Thanks for doing this. I hope you'll upload some pictures of your setup when you can.

update on battery problems. I finally found out that whoever wired the batterys had the batterys wired in the wrong position on the selector switch. When I thought I was on battery 1 I would actually be running on battery two and it got drawn all the way down, as the engine was charging battery 1. hopefully this has solved the problem. thanks for the suggestions. Battery Switch

Hi Rivercat,
I feel your pain on the Battery issue. I turned off the battery switch only to find power on all sorts of things. My Radar, Radio, Bilge pump and there is that terminal directly connected to the positive terminal of battery 2.
Go Figure.

dnatzic,
this is correct to have other accessories running when switch is off. at least that's the way most captains would like it. whatever is wired to the switch is what the switch controls. In most situations this is mainly the motor. most other accessories are directly wired to the batteries. this way your bilge will run no matter what, which is good so when rain etc. gets in your boat it will pump it out.

Randy, I have a Triumph factory wiring schematic for the 210CC. It was mailed to me last year by one of the customer reps. If you want it, I will need a mailing address as I do not have pdf capability. Lt me know.

We keep our boat on a trailer so we are not worried about the bilge running. We just leave the plug out. for this reason we rewired all off the accessories to the switch. Just did but I will write back if the batteries seem to do better.
