From the "Article" on the Modifications to our 210CC, I copied the following.

Would still recommend Digital antennas today. Good range, never a problem.

We had wanted 8 foot antennas, but they would not fold correctly to use on our folding radar arch and still get inside the garage, so went to 4 foot ones. We really liked everything we read about Digital antennas, so we went with the Digital 528-VW 4-foot VHF in white and the Digital 531-AW 4-foot AM/FM antenna in white.

We also installed the two Shakespeare Style 4187-HD extra heavy-duty stainless steel ratchet mounts.

Today, you would probably pay:

DIGITAL VHF 4FT 528-VW WHITE 4.5DB $85.00

DIGITAL AM/FM 4FT 531-AW WHITE $68.00

If you can find the same for less, you found a bargain. The above prices would include freight.

Unfortunately, high quality means a higher price in most cases. Your VHF is your lifeline when you need help. Please consider quality over price when your life or a family members life may be at stake.
