Baitwell/Aerator Upgrade?

Hi all,

I was thinking about upgrading my Baitwell Pump (Rule 700gph) and adding a better Aerator, like the one sold by Keep Alive..

KeepAlive Aerators, Bait Tanks, Livewells, Bait Pumps and Pure Oxygen Systems.. Aireadores y Tanques para Carnada .. Beluchting Systemen.. のエアレーターと生餌水槽

Has anyone performed a similar modification to their 215CC? Or, have any helpful hints for me? Keep Alive sell a Thru-hull conversion kit for about $37.00. Seems like a worthwhile investment if it helps.

Thanks, A

You might look at the post shown below.

Since the modification, we have yet to have a problem keeping bait alive.

Not saying we will never have a problem, just no problem's to date.

The only change made since the picture shown in the posting below was to add a plastic anchor to help keep the PVC pipe in the upright position.

Hope this helps.

PS. The search feature does work on this site. That is how I found my previous post above.

I'm impressed with the Keep Alive products but I'd caution that you check with your Triumph Dealer before committing to a thru hull modification, just to make sure that it doesn't affect your lifetime hull warranty.

Cant Believe The Plant Still Has The Live Well Water Inlet Still At The Bottom Of The Tank. It Is Just As Easy To Plumb The Line To The Top Of The Tank As The Bottom And That Would Also Keep The Water From Backflowing Out The Inlet When The Pump Is Not Running. What Osprey Has Done Is The Easiest Fix

In my hast to post the solution we used for our 210CC, I neglected to say that this solution was used and improved upon by many. My records go back to 2004, and that was not the first discussion and fix for the live well.

Again, I apologize to those that went before me and solved the problem for our 210 and many others. I just copied what had worked for others. I may have added a little of my own ideas, but very little.
