I have a '04 150 Yamaha 4 and with the stock 14.5X17 prop hit a top speed of 46mph with 2 on board an only 10gallons of gas (no other gear). I aslo have the Propulse 14.5 inch. This is a 4 blade prop with adjustable pitch. So far at x17 I have only reached a top speed (GPS) of 39. On these runs I've had almost a full tank and alot of fishing gear. I don't recall the RPM at WOT. I will keep playing with the pitch to see if I see what changes or improves.

130 Honda

The measure of speeed was Horizion speed temp. gauge. We hit 50 on it and I rounded it down to 45 considering the inaccuracy. I'll have to check it with the GPS.

Use 13 X 15 X 4 SS Power Tech

Max speed 32 mph (60 gal gas, 2 passangers, fish gear) on GPS.
Logic 210 CC binimi down, Honda 130. WOT 5400 - 5500

Michigan 13.25 X 17 X 3 Aluminum gave 33 mph but worse handling in rough water, and worse hole shot. WOT 5700

No trim tabs.

I do have a stingray hydrofoil however.

When I did my water test the boat would hardly get on plane, so I put the foil on before the second time in the water.

Mine is an 01 Logic with the big gas tank. I fish it pretty far out in the GOM so I have prop for fairly heavy loading. Even with 4 big guys, 5 - 7 heavy tackle boxes 500 pounds ice and 15 gal in jerry cans I can get on plane and easily hold 23 - 26 knots at 5,000. I basically never do any WOT unless I am testing something.
