My Maiden Voyage

Finally! Took her, 2002 210cc, out for the first time. Smooth as silk. Started out on some glassy water and headed south on the west coast of the big island. We were trolling for some ono. Towards the end of the day with nothing the clouds rolled in. It started raining, the wind picked up and so did the chop. The boat handled it like a champ. I had just given the word to bring in all the lines when one of the reels started spooling. Brought it up and headed in. The only problem we had was the outriggers on top of the t-top wouldn't stay up. I tightened them both but port side still wouldn't stay up. I shot some video if anyone is interested.

.Mac Web Gallery

Any idea's what to check for on the outriggers?

What a way to break in the "new" boat! Nothing like some Wahoo (Ono) steaks on the grill...best tasting fish in my opinion. Love the video...thanks for sharing.

Tight lines.

Nice to get fish on your maiden voyage, I was able to land 5 Albacore on my maiden voyage, and travled over 120 miles doing it.
