Love that bow flare!
Last weekend, we were heading east on the Albemarle sound on our way back from a trip to Elizabeth City, running downwind in breaking, following seas in the neighborhood of 2' - 3' rollers.
We were going just fast enough not to launch off the backs of the waves, splashing down gently into the troughs. That big bow flare of the Triumph sent water out to the sides in HUGE walls, keeping us dry, and preventing the anchor pulpit from being able to ever touch H2O no matter how hard we pushed. It functions just as good as it looks.
