Is 55 LBS Thrust enough

Little Casino

Have you use your navigator enough to determine if 55 lbs of thrust is enough? The next size is 110 lbs and nearly double the money. Does the 55 lbs work for ya?
Thanks

transom trolling motor

I had an aluminum bracket made which I mounted to the swim platform w.stainless thrubolts & lock washers. It was easy & reasonable. We just clamp a 50 lb trolling motor on and it wks great(more power would be better)
we run the cable to the rear starbord hatch & fasten it onto battery posts)
Do not use alligator clips..gets too hot!

Will try to get some pix up here.......
