210 Tackle locker

Has anyone installed a tackle locker on their 210, and if so where they found was the best spot for install and if they just screwed it in or also used rule. I was thinking in front of console above the cooler. Thanks for any help.

Rule everything. If nothing else it helps seat the screws and material to the plastic.

We have a customer that installed a tackle box in the bow over the front seat. Measure the depth of the box before cutting. You can't have a bolster in front if you use that area. The frame of the box gave the area stability.

Dick, that is an excellant location for a tackle box. Any idea as to the depth of the area that can be used for a tackle box?

There are some shown if you go to http://www.ssicustomplastics.com/ and click on the picture of the tackle box. There must also be other sources. The last pages on their catalog have their prices.

I would hate to give up the bolster. Maybe I could just have the bolster off when going fishing, and put it back on for family outings.

I measured for install in front of console and above bow seat, I wont have the room for the 4 tray locker I want to install. The only other place I can think is somewhere on the inside gunwales, maybe oposite the console just forward of the rod storage port side, so it is not near fuel fill. Any ideas? Is this possible? Thanks for any help
