Removing Rule weld around bilge pump
I want to replace the Rule pump on my '04 210. The pump is welded to the hull of the boat with what appears to be a lot of Rule or some sort of material. How can I remove this stuff so I can take the old bilge out and put a new one in its place?

Removing the Pump
As good as Rule sealant is, it will separate from the hull with a steady pull. Just take the pump loose from the hull, and pull firmly and steadily until it gives. DO NOT use any sealant removes such as anti-bond, as this will also weaken your hull.

I've also found that if you apply a little heat (hair dryer, heat gun on low setting, etc.) that the rule will give up its hold a little easier. I hope this helps.
