To those of you who are interested, this is the drawing I started with when designing my kicker motor bracket. Mine is very close to this drawing, particularly in the way it is mounted. It is a good starting point to use as a base for the style bracket you decide to use. Whether you weld to it, bolt to it or do like I did with some slide keyways type slots so you can remove your bracket when not needed.
I used the specs on my 2004 210CC and everything matched just fine, size wise. Thanks to NCangler for posting it for more to see and take advantage of. codfish. p.s. six shooter, this is the drawing I told you about. |

Hello Cesar,
I use a Honda 7.5, old one, and it pushes the boat at a maximum of 4.5 mph. There are some photos of the set up in my gallery. I would guess that a new model of 9.9 would get you 6 mph or even more with a hi thrust model. My motor weighs in at 65 lbs. codfish |

Howdy Cesar - I have a Yamaha 9.9 4S hi thrust and can get about 7.5 kts in good conditions. About 95 lbs. Wish it was a bit lighter but Codfish talked me into going with something that would work for a get home motor. Boat lists a little (I do not have trim tabs) but wouldn't consider it objectionable.
