Range on a 210CC
I am strongly considering buying a 05 210CC with a Yamaha 150 HPDI. I am wondering what kind of range I am looking at with this and wondering how far offshore some of you guys have been in yours?
Thanks Frank |

We have a 2003 210cc with the Yamaha 150 HPDI and it is a very good match for this boat. We can top out at 45 mph with full tank of gas. If we are in rough water we try to cruise around 25 mph with trim tabs half down. We have never really measured the range but let’s just say that we have been out for 8 hours and never turned the motor off. We came back and we still had 3 quarters of a tank left. Now that’s what I call economical (at least compared to other boats we have owned). I think the max range with the 150 HPDI is around 300 miles. You will be very happy with a 2005 210cc and the power the 150 HPDI has.
Good, luck and if you have more questions on the engine let me know. |

My 2002 115 merc without t-top maiden voyage roughly 140 miles.....35 gallons. But now with t-top clam seas more like about 3, to 3.5 miles to the gallon.
