Hi I posted some more pictures with trim tabs fully extended. They only extend about 1 inch. I havent needed to extend them fully to correct any listing or planning as of yet, by accident I once extended one side fully and the boat drastically listed on its side. Its amazing how little amount of trimming the boat needs to react. Another nice feature of these trim tabs is on the control pannel you can see how much you trimmed also worth noting is that as soon as you turn off the ignition the trims automatically retract. They were a great investment especially for a 215cc because of its V-shaped hull, the boat can easily list to one side when you have a cross wind.

They seem like they would create more resistance that traditional tabs. would that not maybe make the motor work harder and affect fuel economy??

I first saw these trim tabs on Ship Shape TV they dedicated a whole show on it including the install I was a Little skeptical at first but after researching them I was sold. They actually claim to improve fuel economy because you can plane your boat faster. They were also chosen by Motor Boating Magazine as one of the top ten boating breakthrough innovations http://www.motorboating.com/motorboa...152664,00.html What I like best about them is there out of the way great for fishing

I run Bennett tabs 9x12 on my 2000 210 Logic with a 150 Mercury. Boat is completely different in choppy waters. Definely put them on yourself or have someone do it for you. You will not regret it. Arden

Arden
Do you have a swim platform on your 210? If so did you have to get a differant actuator for that side or did the standard one fit under it? I am considering the Bennets for mne but dont know about the platform and its affect on the placement of the actuator.

trim tabs cleared swim ladder

K9reno,
I installed the Bennett m120’s with a swim ladder and had no problems. Here are some pictures. Also a pic where I mounted the pump.
Safe boating, DANK

Without a doubt, if you do any off-shore fishing you need trim tabs. It makes the boat ride and handle much better
