did the mockup you saw have an enclosed head?..and by the way guys you probably dont want to buy the first year of anything, let them get the bugs out and buy the next year model.after all look at the evolution of the 210 into the 215,alot of nice little upgrades.having said that we could use a 25 foot cuddy out here in california for overnighting on the seabass grounds, maybe something along the lines of a parker 2320.just a thought since were kickin the can around ya know......

There is a head. The console will be a step-down-in with a removable head.
23cc will be rated for up to single 250 hp (4 stroke)
Deck will be similar to current 191/195 type out of starboard w/no step up as with the current 210cc and 215cc. Raised fish boxes in the bow area to provide dry storage and U type seating
Lean post will have livewell and some storage
Helm redesign different from the 215cc
Production possibly after boat show season late 2007
Product testing date (feasibility) unknown at this point, no schedule.
Mock up and hull molds in work as we speak (design tweaks being accomplished)
Transom and back deck areas will be similar in set up to the 195cc with raised splashwell
Sorry, no closed transom
Macerator for two rear floor fish boxes - Y connected
Freshwater wash down option-raw water washdown option

Be warned, this will not be a in-exspensive boat and will be priced accordingly with current market 23 centers. Sorry, no hard numbers, but plan on base boat around 50K and optioned out in the mid 50's low/mid 60's depending on options of course.

Note- Chaos Limited discontinued and 215cc Tournament Edition boat will be new for 07.
White boat with tournament graphics and white powder coated TTop and hardware

wow 50's to 60's that is getting on the steep side, but considering the banging the boat can take and the ride I am still interested. Can't wait to see it.

So what happened to the extended transome bracket idea for the twin screw option......and $50-60k is high. Don't expect alot of takers on a single for that price, guess that "economical" aspect of why buy a Triumph will be phased out! haha

Looks like I will be keeping the 190 and buying a 26 twin as well, like Tums and others.

Like you guys I think that is Kind of a High PRICE.
Molar here is a pic of my new ride. The length is 27' 4" before rigging and around 30' rigged. Like you all I wished Triumph would have broke into the twin motor area. I just could not wait forever though.

Hey TUMS,
How do you like the Polar? I was thinking about the WA. The Yamies doing well? I'll be down at Gulf Shores area July 28th weekend for some offshore action (no further than Trysler though) if seas permit. Shoot me an email if you are not doing SKA.

Il-L-AL, that is pretty common in June for the Gulf 1-2's. That's my favorite month offshore. July starts to get more unpredictable with storms and seas. I have learned not to completely trust NOAA on XMWX for seas either as of two weekends ago. 1-2's ended up 4-8's!

Berto we get several days like that this time of year here. I will probably be dropping for many years to come. Thanks

Molar the boat has turned out to be a better boat than I expected. Those 225 4 stroke yammies are doing really well. I am pulling around 10,000# at full load with 7 fishermen and getting around 2 mpg at just over 30 mph. I get around 1.7 mpg at 45 and top speed is right at 55 MPH. I also noticed if the XMWX says it is ruff out there it is really ruff. I have noticed on 2 or 3 occasions when it said the wave height was a good bit less than it was the last 2 months. I am lucky since I fish near weather stations that are reporting in and can check them also to get real time data to go along with the XM wave height grid. I will email you a soon as I get back since I am fixing to leave the office and go pack to go fishing for the weekend. Thanks

NCangler Thanks.

Any more news on the 230CC? Is it going to be at the Miami show in Feb 07? Has anyone toured the factory more recently and gotten updates information on this model?
