I think you meant 150, and not 155, because suzuki doesn't make a 155hp motor.

In any event, while I have not owned a suzuki, many people will tell you that suzuki makes great 4 strokes. Then again, Yamaha, and Honda also make greak 4 strokes too. Bottom line is that, nowadays, you can't go wrong with any of the new 4 strokes.

...or it could be a 115 Suzuki, that's what I have. They don't make a 150 in a 4 stroke, just a 140. The 140 weighs less that the 115 HP!

I've had no problems or complaints with my Suzuki. It's what came on the boat. I wanted a Yamaha because of what I heard about them being so good.

I'd buy another Suzuki in the future. I heard it's the choice of the oil industry people because they depend on their engines out at sea.
Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki are all good choices for me.

Thanks fellas,
Just goes to show you, I dont know much about suzuki or four stroke OB. I havent gotten to S Texas to look at the boat yet, but intend to pretty quick. 155 hp was the add and their correspondence with me.
You guys have been really helpful and I appreciate it. This is a really great site.

base price included yama 250 and trailer. then you add the options you want and the price climbs. I have seen many other boats of this style and size for the same and more money. I just will never be able to financially afford the boat. unless i win the lottery or somtihing.

Thumbs up 235 pricing and motors available

Keep in mind that you are looking at MSRP. If you build a 215 online it will be high too. If you're interested in a real-world price, build the boat specs online then take them to a Triumph dealer for their quote.

Also I've been told that other motors will be available soon. The next motor will be the E Tech 250 and then the Suzuki 300, more to come later.

I was on the Suzuki website and I stand corrected that they do have a 150 HP outboard. Don't know if it's a 4 cycle or not. It's a DF150.

Not sure if its even allowed on the forum, but if anyone can post an actual dealer quote in comparison to MSRP (on the 235), it would be great. Maybe even just a ratio. Its nice to be able to find out dealer invoice costs and everything when you buy a car. Boat shopping is a bit more mysterious.

We do not allow posting of pricing or quotes from dealers in the forums. A quote from a dealer is a private matter between a dealer and a potential customer. If someone is interested in sharing this information with another member online via email or Private Message that is fine. But please do not post quotes in the forums. Thank you.
