I was able to fianally see a 235 over the weekend at a local dealer, and all i can say is WOW, it is a awesome boat it was equipped with every option avail and a Yam 250 it looks much larger than other 23's i was looking at,
im very impressed although it's priced out of my range now, im probably going to get the 21 with smaller power 150 or 175 and not optioned to the max.
The only thing i might want to pick at is if it had a waterline stripe or at the rubrail it would 'break' up the massive white hullside and would make an already pretty boat look even nicer it looks just a little 'plain' .

Late Delivery

I was disappointed after expecting my 235 to be ready by mid-august and still not having a time frame for completion as of this date. I contacted my dealer and they stated they were informed by the triumph rep that there was a problem at the factory. Due to this problem deliveries have been pushed back. I am now expecting delivery sometime after Labor Day.

Has anyone else heard about the problem at the factory?

Factory Problem

Does anyone have any details about this "problem" at the factory. I'm thinking about getting a 235 but am leary about being a guinea pig on a new boat. There is already a used one up for sale on boat trader for 49k.

I saw the one you mentioned but im not sure if 10 hours technically makes it used, if it was never titled and just a demo at a boat show or at the dealer, that is not very different from a new car that is driven by the sales manager or test drives by customers. And yes you should get a discounted price in either case.
I would be surprised about any problems, they took a long time to get this boat to market i would hope it may be nothing more than parts supply on the vendor side of things.
After getting a test ride on a 19' last year l believe in the technology and theory of Ropelene especially the almost maintenence free hull(buffing/waxing) and plan to own one in the spring 08'.
