If there are some things you're not happy with and the factory wants to take care of them, it is hard to complain about that. Every new boat has things that have to be worked out, just like a new home would. Make your "punch" list and let the factory take care of it. You'll be happier when you get it back. My $.02.

That's the way we feel and we understand it's a new model and one of the first the factory put out, we definitely want it back right because we plan on keeping it a very long time! Just hurts to let her go - we just got her. and not being able to fish it after waiting so long to find the boat we liked - love the fact they want to make it right.

I Would Be Thinking The Discount Off A Demo Boat Would Be Well Worth The Time Off The Water Compared To What A New One Would Sell For---they Are Doing You A Big Favor Updating It To Current Production Standards----i Am Soooo Envious Of Any And All Of You 235 Owners:d

Hi king, yes boaters exchange seems to be great to work with. They are doing their best to take care of any concerns so far. Hopefully it lays down a bit after Monday so i can take her out chasing logs in Canaveral. Plan to use her alot this week and then she will return to the factory for updates next week. I cant wait to see what that df300 is capable of. PM me with your email address sometime - we will send pics there.

Are you planning to dive off her? If so would love to see what kind of swim platform1/adder you put on her.

We have thought about a swim platform as is on the215/210,but i will more than likely just use the dive ladder as is factory equiped and let the wife hand BC up before boarding.I only dive with 10 lbs of weight and climbing out with that isnt much of a problem for me.I exit water now between twins with full gear and no swim platform,but im also used to climbing scaffolding all day long: it keeps me young(or maybe thats what is makin me old). I'll let u know how it works out because we do and will be diving regularly here and in the Keys.
