Smile Finally went Plastic!

After an extensive boat search we just purchased a new 2008 235CC with a factory demo Suzuki 300 on her. We just brought her home today; the only time we had her out was the wet test but we fell in love with her. The ride is smooth and really does absorb the shock of some of the chop we were in.

Cant wait to take her out fishing!

By the way if anyone has any name suggestions please send them our way. Here is some info about us, Mark and Lil (therefore our member name) we are in the masonry business, installing brick, glass block and stone. We love to fish and dive mainly out of Sebastian Inlet, FL area but we also love the Keys. We are offshore people and in our previous boat 26' Triton we went to the Bahamas several times. Married 23 years with two grown kids (grown and gone!) and two canine kids still at home and very spoiled.

welcome

Welcome and congratulations. I'm envious. I couldn't go that large for my first boat. Besides, no storage that large at home. I'm still trying to think of names for my new 170CC.

Thanks folks .I'm sure we will learn alot about a new model boat. I know we will have a lot of questions for the Triumph gurus, and hopefully what we learn from the experience we can pass on to future prospective owners.

L & M, congratulations on your new boat. The 235CC ought to do well with that Suzuki 300 on the back of it.

Thanks for all the greetings.

As we said we purchased a factory demo with a 300 Suzuki with 50 hours on it: it was one of the factories first 235's so we knew we would be giunea pigs.

We have had it for two days now and have installed a vhf radio, outriggers are coming: as we walked the boat we are finding more and more issues that are adding up. Have not even got to fish it yet but now the factory wants our boat back so they can upgrade and take care of all the issues. I really do want to fish the boat but I also want things taken care of and to me it sounds like the factory wants us to be happy with the boat. So even though we did a long extensive search on the boat it seems that we will be without this one for a couple weeks but I think and I hope it will be worth the wait.

What do you all think? This is killing me.

We are supposed to make a list of things that are not working or are just missing and factory wants to take delivery of it a week from this Monday. Right now its blowing 30 knots out here but the cobia are here and the dolphin will be here soon, sure hope the factory hurries but again does well for me and the wife.
