Want to start a 'Triumph Boat Owners Club' in your area?

We are moving ahead with Putershark's (Dave) idea on creating local TBO Clubs. Dave is starting a chapter in Tampa, FL "TBOOT", Triumph Boat Owners of Tampa Bay. They are already organizing so I'm creating a forum for their group. I'm starting one for the Triangle area of North Carolina too, called "TBOT", Triumph Boat Owners of the Triangle. If you are interested in organizing a group in your area let me know what you are going to call yourselves and the locale where you're meeting and we'll add a forum for you.

This is a work in progress and we're open to any suggestions, so talk to us. So far we've heard from Tampa, FL and the Triangle of NC. Any other locations interested in starting a local Triumph Owners Club?

I need to add that local chapter groups are totally independent of this site, which is totally independent of Triumph Boats. We are here to provide a 'forum' for Triumph Boat Owners to meet online and share information on our boats. We're happy to help in anyway we can, but all legal and financial responsibilites for local chapters lie with the organizers of that chapter. I'm not a lawyer but I think you get the gist of what I'm saying.

sure, sounds like a great idea. Not sure where to base it out of for myself. I live in Vermont, but travel to Massachusetts for most of my saltwater excursions. I know Cincinnati and the other guys from last year's TBOT New England tournament are in CT. Maybe Northeast could work.

Yeah, that sounds great. And we need to also make plans again for the NE TBOT...

TBOT's could actually be a part of the local or regional Triumph Boat Owners Groups. There may be some areas where there are enough Triumph Owners in a city or state to have a local group in addition to a regional group. But local groups in a region could join together for an annual TBOT. It will be interesting to see what support if any Triumph would give to developing Owners Group Chapters. Feel free to brainstorm here guys and let's see where this leads.

Maybe need a Mississippi, Alabama and Fla panhandle area and then a LA area possibly paired with Texas. Also, remimber the word is to not eat fish/shrimp/oysters from the Gulf Coast for a while. Lots of pollution and chemicals in the sediment have been stired up from the industrial ports and now finds itself in the food chain. Don't think you'll find Gulf shrimp for a while since they mainly have been washed out to deeper water.

I fish in the Boston/Cape area and would join a local or regional club. If there's a New England tournament I'm in too.
