Chesapeake Triumph Boat Owners(CTBO)

The answer is yes,if you or someone else in your area wants to help found it.The concept of the CTBO is for a local "Captain" to work with the Triumph Dealer in their area to create and sponsor an event that other area owners can attend.Captain Steve Pagano(Hunter1)has a Ride & Drive event scheduled thru Hooked on the Bay in N.E.MD.I am working w/RT.113 Boat Sales in Delaware on an Ocean City Beach Clean-Up in July.We need an area Captain to contact Seaport Marine Services in Suffolk Va.to create an event, the location looks perfect for a fishing tournament. We also need a Captain for Stafford Marine inStafford,Va.(DC area). If your'e interested in becoming the club Captain for your area, let me know.
Thanks for your interest!

Michael,

Thanks for you prompt response. I will contact Seaport next week and see what kind of things they may be interested in doing. This is a great area for fishing: inshore, near shore and offshore. Beyond fishing, b-b-q's, and general b.s.ing about boats and what-not, I have no idea what a local owners club would do.

Ctbo

Welcome Aboard Frank,I think the fishing,BBQ & B.S.ing covers alot, especially if B.S.stands for Beer Slugging! The idea here is CASUAL,just something where owners can get together and have fun in their boats,it doesn't have to be a big deal.Your responsibility as local Captain would be to post the event on this site and help the Dealer get the word out.If you were able to attend one of the other Captains events and bring along some local members, that would be great.I would love to have reason to head down there and fish the BBT,I could also bring some tackle giveaways if a tournament is the event.I have some experience in promotions thanks to my job as a sales rep.here a some key points whatever you come up with.
-Give it a name(short & sweet ex.Ride & Drive)
-Set the date & rain date
-Informal & family oriented
-Create a flier
I'm looking forward to hearing from you, please post your info in the CTBO thread.
Thanks Again Captain Frank!
