If it turns out to be a calm day will anybody take their 170cc? Also, what about customs on the return?

Bahamas Crossing

One of the salespeople here at Boathouse wants to take a 17CC as well. We've asked a friend with a big heavy boat to go with us, and the small boats would follow him, as he can flatten out the water for us.

As of now, it looks like there is going to be at least 8 boats going across. Clearing customs on the way back in is a phone call, and then they tell us if we have to go to the airport to clear in.

I stole it from another poster on another site. Looks like someone in a 19 or 20' CC decided to take on Jupiter inlet. But I don't really know.

Funny you should id that as the Jupiter inlet. I was just talking to my stepmom yesterday. She was telling me about I attempt my father made at taking them out the Jupiter inlet at low tide. She Said that they hit a super high breaker that came over the boat and almost ripped the bimini top right off not to mention taking passengers overboard. She said NEVER use that inlet at low tide.
