Suggestion

Why not try Point Judith, Rhode Island. It is easier access than the Cape, it has excellent fishing, public boat ramps, beaches, and all types of accomodations and great food. Ciccinati can take the Block Island Ferry from Long Island to Block Island drive across the Island and take the Ferry to Point Judith. Personally I think it is nicer than Falmouth. It would be a shorter trip from Stowe, and closer to Connecticut.Just a thought, Ken

I'd be up for checking out Pt Judith. Our set up last year was pretty sweet though. If Fishtrophies knows any places that might work for us let us know.

Fishtrophies,
what I meant is if you want to do the homework and find a new spot, go for it, but I am perfectly happy returning to last years spot. It was great, the fishing was good, we fished mostly off the Vineyard, and it is not much farther if not the same distance for me. Plus I will leave my boat again this year since I go to the Vineyard from June 17 - 24.

I am still checking on my work schedule to see if I can even go the 1st wknd of June.

Like Cinncinati I am in the process of relocating, but only to Pittsfield, MA. I agree the setup in Falmouth was fine and we had plenty of fish and I would be glad to go back. But I would also be just as happy to go to Point Judith. The only constraint would be the relocation closing, but there should be no problem the first weekend in June.
