I ordered one from my dealer for my 170CC. Once installed, it was rock solid. Made life a whole lot easier to get back in from tubing, etc. Check with Dick at Merritt Marine. His link is on this site several times... look under the Tech Talk forum. If he can't find it, they don't make it. Congrats on your new boat.

I had the dealer install mine. It works just fine. When Diving if you are alone, have a 6 foot rope with a brass clamp on one end. Tie off on the tie down brackets. let in float in the water. as you come up from the dive, take off your heavy BC attach to the rope, then climb up, and then at your leisure, you can pull in your BC. That's what I do, even with 2 people I use two ropes, one handing on each side. Another thing I like to do....Boy I can talk on this all day. I hang a Alum tank with a rig set up, from a rope down about 15 - 20 feet for the deep dives, so that I can do a nice long safety stop if need be, and have plenty of air to do it with.
