Went to the Los Angles Boat Show in Jan. saw the new 215 and the 195 up close and personal some pretty cool upgrades in the last 3 years. I got to meet the Triumph factory rep. I expressed my desire for a 17’ or a 19’ tunnel hull for when I move to my house down on the Laguna Madre in So. Texas, he says So. Texas is not a large enough market to build a mold and the rest of you guys don’t use them. So I’ll probably just buy a locally built boat after we move I’ve got time, we have a good renter and I’m not retiring for a few years anyway. Also sat around and chatted with the guys from Johnson Marine, Ron still recognizes me and calls me by name and I don’t see them more than once a year! There new sales manager runs his own Triumph 210 and he’s really into it. Sounds like the guy does some fishing! I’m not surprised they’re the #1 dealer on the west coast. I’ve got to say though if I had unlimited funds I’d be in a 25’ or 26’ walk around with a common rail diesel. There is some neat stuff out there, probably want to keep the 210 for a boiler rock beater though. Hope you had as much fun at your show as I did.

Headed to the Central New York Boat Show in Syracuse, NY tomorrow. Not really looking for anything, but something to do in this cold. Perhaps a few goodies if they catch my eye. Looking forward to seeing the newer Triumph models.
