Dealer Discontinuing Triumph Line

I just returned from my dealer, Holly Acres, and was disappointed to find that they are discontinuing the Triumph and adding Trophy. However, they did say that they have several (6 or 7) 2005 models that they are selling below dealer cost as clearance models. This may be a good opportunity for someone looking for a good deal on last year's model. Their link is: www.hollyacres.com if anyone is interested.

I noticed that they list the hull being made of Fiberglass. Huh?

I visited Holly Acres while I was shopping for prices. I wasn't impressed with anything they had in stock as far as prices and options. All boats I looked at had Mercury 2 stroke power and few options. The prices seemed to be a few thousand more than other dealers I looked at even with 2-stoke motors. Not surprized to hear that they're dropping Triumph.

As of the Fredericksburg Boat Show, Stafford Marine is taking over the Holy Acres stock. They are on the Potomac north of Fredericksburg. See www.staffordmarine.com The salesman at the Boat Show said that in order to take on Bayliner they had to drop Triumph. Their loss. Logomd, Glen Allen, VA

Stafford Marine is up and running

I just bought a (used) 2004 170CC w/ a 60hp Yamaha 4-stroke from Michael at Stafford Marine. Michael is a straight shooter and it was a pleasure doing business with him.

He's set up his office in the Willow Landing Marina building and has at least 7 or 8 brand new Triumphs on the lot ready to go. It seemed like most had 4-strokes, and I think his prices are reasonable. To get there, come up (or down) Route 1 until you hit Hope Road, one block north of the Stafford Courthouse (there is an old school on the corner). Turn east onto Hope Road and follow it down 3-4 miles until you see the sign for the Willow Landing Marina and turn left down the hill - you can't miss it.

By the way, launching fees at Willow Landing are $10 7 days a week.

What did you pay? I'm still wresting with my bigger boat diseasse and the info would give me a good idea on what I could expect. I recognize I would have to back it down to some sort of wholesale number. Thanks.
