Central NY Boat Show

Went to the boat show in Syracuse, NY on Friday. Numerous dealers and about 500 boats on display. Glad to tell you that Triumph was proudly represented by 2 different dealers.
Between the two dealers they had about 10 models on display, with a very nice 2006 215 that I crawled around on for quite awhile. Did have the oppertunity to meet a nice gentleman that had purchased a new 210 last year that knew nothing about the forum so I gladly informed him about it and the Triumph brotherhood !
My only complaint would be is that you go to a boat show looking to hopefully find a better deal? not at this show
$36,000 before tax on the 215 wasn't much of a deal to me

Got my boat at the 2004 L.A. show but it was an unsold 03 Ron (Johnson Marine) had back at the shop. Considering I was just stopping by the show on my way to look at a used boat in long beach and had never heard of a plastic ocean boat before. I think I did pretty well, $25,000 out the door including the T top a Yam. 115 4 stroke with a 5 year warranty and a Furuno color sounder/gps/chart plotter tax + lic. I think I’d go for the 150 if I did it again, I don’t really need more power day to day but I don’t have any extra.

(It was fun to wander around those big Water Houses...~~now what could Triumph do with(for) one of those!????)

We too went to the CNY Boat Show in Syracuse. We went on Saturday and ended up ordering a 170cc with Honda 50HP motor. We had no intentions of buying a boat when we went, but once we saw the Triumph and heard all about it, we were hooked. Our boat will arrive sometime in April and we cant wait! Once back home, we priced out our boat online and, the price we paid at the boat show actually was a great price. Online, it booked out at over $20,000. We paid just over $16,000.

Glad to see that you found a good deal! I'm sure there were some, however I'm looking strictly at the 210/215 and Chaos model and at that show the deal wasn't there.
I did visit with Dick in January on my way down to Fl. and spent a few hours with him where he gave me an extensive tour of Merritt Marine and let me tell you that is where the deals are!!! I may be stopping down again in March when I trip down to Fl. Again.

The other half and I were also at the Central NY Boat show on Saturday. The weather was perfect for dreaming of spring! Howling winds with blowing/drifting snow. There were actually 3 Triumph dealers there. One of the dealers didn't bring the Triumphs. And while we were drooling over the 19 F&S walkthru, a couple showed up with some pictures of their boat destroyed by a windstorm the night before. With the temps way low, the winds way high, and a gigantic pine tree falling on the boat... Hopefully their insurance co. will replace it. I wondered if these folks knew about this site? One thing I learned from this show... our '03 190DC does not have a book value.
To those members who attended the show: Did ya'll take advantage of those shuttle buses? :-)
