Wiring Diagram

I've been trying to find a wiring diagram for my 170CC. I've contacted Triumph customer service and two dealers that are local to me...each says they don't have the diagram. I find it hard to believe that you could make or work on a boat without the diagram. Has anyone else had success in getting a diagram for their boat, regardless of size? Any suggestions?

Talking

Hi Chuck, I also asked the same questions when i first joined this owners club. I never got a response, I even called Triumph, to no avail. What I did was to make my own and ran it from the battery to the console in smurf pipe to a fuse block to run all my electronics and accessories, otherwise I think I would still be waiting for a reply as you are. I think there is a diagram for a 191 online here somewhere in this site, I did see it, I will try and find it again and pass it along to you.

Hi guys. I'm going to see if the folks at Triumph can provide an online link to wiring diagram information if they have it. If they don't I hope they'll consider providing this from this point forward. I'd be happy to post the information on this site or link to the Triumph site. I think this would be very helpful for owners, dealers and factory folks themselves to have information like this readily available. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Suitekids,
Thanks for the response...I'll probably take your suggestion and just wire my own terminal block. Silly me, I just thought it would be easier to use a wire that has already been run and didn't have another purpose.

NCangler,
Thank you also for your response...that would be a great addition if you could get Triumph to fess up a link to the diagram. I know I'm not the only one looking for one.

If you check the Triumph manual you will find a wireing code by color, its accurate to the extent I have used it. Speakers, courtesy lights, and am/fm radio. Black is always ground so use an ohm meter and alligator clip (batt . disconnected of course) to check continuity thru any wire you want to check. This shound not be applied to any extras they put on. like my battery charging system. Make your own diag. as you go along. Their imformation on most stuff I have Checked is minimal at best.

Wiring Diagram

All you Wiremen out there,

Attached is a Word document file, which is a scan of a wiring diagram I received from Triumph a couple of years ago. It is updated for the '04 210CC that I own. I hope it helps owners of other models but don't count on it.

The customer rep that sent it to me is no longer with the company, sorry.

codfish

Diagram did not upload. PM to me with e-mail address and I will send diagram along.
