Cleaning tips

My Tiumph 191 Fish & Ski arrived yeasterday from The Boat Shop of Spokane. It arrived with a lot of caked on dirt and some black grease marks on it. I called the factory and was told to try powerwashing it with a 25% bleach solution and some Green Away. I tried, but some of the marks are still on the hull and in the back. Does anyone know what types of strong cleaners can be used without hurting the Ropolene? Perhaps someone could suggest a process to loosen up this grime. Thanks.

Ken

I use liquid Tide...cuts grease (and catfish slime) and is biodegradable. Haven't had a mark that won't come off yet.

If the other solvents mentioned above don't work out for ya. Check out some "Dupont 3812S Fast Dry Enamel Reducer"
This will safely take off anything on your boat or automobile. It works on some of the hardest grime, tar, adhesive, rubber marks, you name it and it's safe on Roplene, and the paint job on your auto as well.
I just recently used it on some scuff marks that the front roller on my trailer leaves under my bow from loading.
I tried everything to remove the scuff marks and then I tried the 3812S, and it took it off with a swipe. It also safely removes rubber markings from dock bumpers on my vinyl graphics as well.

Thanks....I'll keep that in mind if my Liquid Tide ever fails me.

Used X-14 Orange mildew cleaner to get the "funk" cleaned out of the inside of the center console. You would think the plastic gases would prevent anything from growing in there.
