No response from Triumph to web inquires

I've been researching Triumphs for a few weeks now and I have to say that the most frustrating (deterring) part, has been the complete lack of response from Triumph to my inquires submitted on their website. If they won't even respond to me now when I'm looking to buy a boat, what can I expect when I have a problem?

Anybody else have this problem?

Jonesje2, I have no first hand knowledge with the factory in NC and me in Florida, but I will make a guess.

With the 2007 models being shipped and the boat shows starting, there may not be many sales type folks around to look at e-mails. Now that is strictly a guess. Besides, most manufacturers want you to work thru their dealer network. When I purchased my tow vehicle, there was no factory person I could talk to.

If you really want to talk to someone at the factory, I would try calling.

Good luck on your boat search and glad you found this site. The guys and gals here might have some of the answers you are looking for.

Just my 2 cents and hope you have a GREAT week.

Never a problem "calling" the factory and getting a prompt response from the warranty department. That should mean alot to you.

Inquires may be forewarded to your nearest dealer,Inquires I've made in the past were responded to by local dealer.

If you are still having problems, I have an email address of a factory rep.

Hi Jonesje2 and welcome to the site. I contacted someone at Triumph about this after seeing your post. It was news to them and they were concerned that maybe the emails were being routed into SPAM purgatory or something. They are checking into that. In the meantime they asked that I relay that you can call Bryant, Russ or Paul at Triumph anytime and they'd be glad to answer any questions. Thanks for the heads up on no email response. I wonder how many other folks were trying and just gave up! I expect Triumph will keep an eye on that from now on.

Thanks NCangler. Marlin wrote me today apologizing for the problem. Apparently, the inquiry form on the website isn't working as they never got anything from me.

N/C, you know my opinion on this whole deal but here it is again. Either take the e-mail link and phone number off the factory site or have both routed directly to customer service without having to go through any "exchange" where someone believes they have the power to screen calls and e-mail and respond to only what "they" believe important. E-mail should be directed to ONE individual, responsible for responding to ALL customer related stuff.

If anyone tries to apologize for the service experienced by myself and others, my answer is this, if Triumph doesn't put the customer first soon no one will put Triumph first.

I had a similar problem with the factory website, but my phone call got excellent attention. I am in North Texas and the dealer I worked with is no longer a Triumph Dealer. The factory made sure my needs were met. I don't know what I'll do if I want to trade up from my 2004 190 Bay since the closest dealer is 250 miles away.
