Blood Stains on Deck

My Triumph cleans up so easily that I didn't worry too much about some dried fish blood on the foredeck on a rather warm day. I've scrubbed down the boat twice since and the stain is still there.

Before I go through the under the kitchen sink supply of cleaners, anyone know which product works?

NC, looked at 'em. I already use dish washing soap. It has taken the surface grime off but the "stain" seems to be resistant to cleaning.

I use the standard liquid dish soap when cleaning. That doen't seem to work in this area. Was thinking of bleach and a cloth to let it sit on the stain for an hour or so but don't like using bleach if something else might work.

Did you see this note from Dick@merrittmarine?
Quote:
The factory used a kitchen cleaner called Greesed Lightning, They now use an orange peel product that they buy in bulk, For bad stains we use Soft Scrub, another kitchen cleaner.

I just use a dab of Comet and a deck brush on the really stubborn spots.

I have thought about trying a little Hydrogen Peroxide too, like on the fish box lid where the stains seem to be the most difficult to remove.

Jan, good idea with the Comet. I'll try it this week.
