What my boat got for Christmas

Ok Puterhark you asked for it. My 210 cc got a West Marine gift card and master catalog for 2006. I am not sure if it wants me to get some stuff to neaten up its wireing and add some lighting or what. But I should have some fun looking.
Hope everyone had a good Holiday.

I spent my West Marine gift card a few minutes ago. If you use a gift card before December 31st West Marine adds an additional 15% to its value. Plus orders over $99 get free shipping. I ordered a Coast Guard Approved Life Sling 2 (discounted $30) and LED guide post lights.

I used my Bass Pro gift card last night and ordered an on-board battery charging system for short or long term battery maintenance.

Lots of cool toys so far. Now this thread is just for everybody to go "Oh cool" over...

So make sure you guys ask for help and advise in the proper forums for your new toys so others can also find that information and data on such later on

Today, my son who is home for Christmas break from Florida State University, took me out fishing – and catching – then cleaned the boat better than I have ever done.

Just being with my son for almost twelve hours is the best Christmas present ever. Yes – he caught the first fish and the most fish, but I had time with my son.

As I have stated in the past, my biggest regret is not buying the boat sooner. The time I now spend with my son or with my wife or with my daughter on the water is priceless.

New Battery Charging System

My boat got a new onboard battery charging system. No more hauling out the old clunky 1970s version of a charger and rewiring my trolling motors to charge them at the same time. Already installed and working perfectly.
