I don't know about you guys, but that is one Ugly blue boat. What would be really cool to see is the boat in Carolina Yellow.

Blue boats are bad luck, jinxed and ultimately doomed. We shall see with a Triumph.

i just realized, it MUST be painted. If the color was in the plastic itself, wouldn't the whole boat be blue outside and inside??? What a heck of a screw up, who in their right mind would paint a boat that color?

I know why.... Fishouflage would not want the fish to see you sneaking up on them in the water now would you?

Now before you laugh too hard though... Some of the boats on the various Redfish tours have all the metal pipes (leaning posts, console grab rails) in black power-coat and they use black power poles. Now when you look at those boats in pictures, it is a marked difference in apperance because of such, and the boat blends in very well with a Mangrove background When ounces of weight can equal thousands of dollars... Any edge you can get that can get can make for a healthy pay out is worth the effort I am quite sure

I agree with feejer, yellow would look good. That's why I liked the TOW Triumph boat that was yellow.

Nope its not paint,
I had emailed the seller of the boat and this is the response I got."It is not paint. It is actually a blue plastic that was put into the mold before the regular white plastic, so it retains the same structural strength and durability."

Somebody at Triumph needs a good kick in the azz. Why would they ever produce such an ugly color. I hope this color thing will be an option in the future. I want a nice pale yellow boat

What year?

Does anyone know what year the "Blue Boat" is? It has some of the newer features (i.e. stern seat backs, etc.). Just curious.
