I am having the "other" hull concavity crack repaired. Also, Triumph suggested a free upgrade of the scuppers from side to the transom and an addition of another bow support, "on the house".

Presently, if you get a crack in one hull concavity, they go ahead and repair and beef up both. The concavities are common on the Bay 190, 2002 issue.

I really hate all this free upgrading and improvements Triumph keeps forcing on me!

Got the time now, with it so cold and all, to lube and deep clean the reels. Respool and topshot and re-rig lures etc. I've got several mods waiting for CarlyMad when she comes home! Installing an Oxygenator and new Aerator variable timer. Also going to install an iPod charger in the ebox.....also need to reseal the seams....WoodyWax the t-top.....I hope winter lasts a few more weeks, I just won't have time to use the boat for all the projects! haha

Haha, snow? 3 major counties shut down because some local weatherman said it was going to be freezing rain possibly today! Not even ice on the deck or road. I have a full cover for the boat and will run an electric heater out to it so I can work...it has a felt insulation inner layer. I just don't have a boat and RoughWater hasn't even gotten to it yet...will start bugging them weekly starting March 1st.

only 2.5 months until I can switch from hard to soft water. The fishing is better this winter than it was last summer.

well it was almost warm here yesterday 31fh, but today it has cooled off a little +13 with a nice 20mph wind and a wind chill of -10. This may hamper my launch date for a few more weeks. Ya gotta love Maine in the winter, hopefully my last. I was talking to a friend who lives at the mouth of the Kennebec river and he has burnt 20 cords of wood so far this year because the wind has blown down there all winter. I really need to move south!!
