TBOT New England Details

It's official the TBOT New England is on. We have decided on the weekend of June 4 & 5. I have just reserved space for our group at the Green Harbor Waterfront Lodging (they have a website) in Falmouth. They have a boat launch and small dock right there, plus area for barbecue etc. The rate is $118 per night for Fri and Sat nights, if you want a third night it is $88, and if you stay 4 nights it is $88 for all 4 nights. this is based on 2 people in the room. No meals are included. I have set aside 5 rooms for now, he will hold for a month, but book quickly, they have 10 rooms left which we can use if necessary, I am not sure how many are going to make it, but we will have fun no matter what. My wife is going to join me if any one else is bringing a spouse feel free. there is also lodging close by if we run out of space.

One other important thing, there is a bridge we need to go under from their launch, it has 7 ft clearance at high tide, so if you have a t-top it won't work for you at high tide. But there is a launch on the other side of land just a few minutes away, so not a problem, but will have to pull boat out at night that's all.

Anyone looking for info on fishing there, a great website is reel-time.com , go to Cape Cod and Islands reports, then go to Archived reports, you can check out dates around when we will be there, good reports and techniques there.

It should be a great time for us for fishing, great stripers and blues, even some bottom fish for those interested!

Keep us posted if you are going!

Oh yes, I reserved space under TBOT for us , so mention when you call. The phone number for the resort is 1-800-548-5556. They require one nights deposit which is refundable with 15 days cancellation. I reserved mine today.

more details

Oh yes, as far as the actual tournament rules etc, we will have to work that out. I figure we can fish maybe Fri afternoon into evening for those who may come early, and all day Saturday and maybe Sun morning, so we can depart sometime Sunday afternoon. Basically we will just get together and chat boats and fishing and have lots of fun! Hope for good weather!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Fishahn for putting this thing together :!:

I'm booked for the evenings of 6/3 and 6/4. Plan on arriving as early as I can get up there - say 12 noon on Friday. Will plan to leave Sun. afternoon, or whenever we quit fishing.

Sounds like a great time. I'm going to do my best to get down there.
This will be a great way to kick off the north east fishing season.

Fishahn - Looks great, and I too appreciate the effort to pull this together. I will be there, even with my little boat. Need to coordinate with my wife to see if she is coming.

thanks

Glad to hear from you guys so quickly, Cincinnati, Buckshot, Fishcer
, it's no trouble to me, I just found this place online and think it should be perfect for us. don't worry about the small boat, you'll find fish someplace! hopefully it will be calm. I took my 15' whaler over to the Vineyard from Falmouth a few years ago, no problem, the only thing I had to worry about was the wake from the ferry.

anyway, hope you guys make it! I know I can't wait!
