Triumph Boats Just Not For Me.

I just got back from the NJ boat show with my brother and a friend. After spending a good 20-30 minutes talking to the sales guy and a factory rep I have decided to pass on the Triumph line of boats. I won't go into all the details, but I felt along my brother and buddy that the quality is just not in the boats that I thought was going to be their. After going thru the 15CC and 17CC it seems that things just did not fit together right.

Thanks for your time and answers to my questions. Good luck with all of your boats.

Good luck with that Whaler. That's a great boat. I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice.

Whalers are good, but for the money you can do better in my opinion! I owned a '79 15 ft for the last several years, just sold to my brother. I loved it for what it was.

Up Date, No BW yet.
But I passed a Triumph dealer on the way home from my inlaws last week and decided to stop and take a look. They had 2 15CC and 4 17CC on there lot. I noticed the fit and finish of these boats was really different from the boats at the boat show I went to. All the hatches seemed to fit flush and looked great. I am re-thinking my Triumph options.

The 170 CC is a heck of a fishing platform, keep looking at 'em.

You may just pull the trigger on one yet.
