Yes here we go again, summer driving season, hurricane forecast, etc.. whatever reasons they can come up with to drive up the prices. We're up to $2.60 per gallon here in Vermont right now!
Sad to say though I didn't see a big slow down last summer when prices were at or above $3 per gallon. Unfortunately for many boat owners its still relatively inexpensive and they still go. Maybe at $4 or $5 a gallon will things start to change. sad but true! OPEC, traders, big oil companies and other controlling forces will basically charge as much as possible until economies begin to tumble and naturally reduce demand and price. its a vicious cycle, but the most fundamental of all economics! |
