Backtroller, is that the 170 Bass model? I've not heard of the "BT" model either. What does the BT stand for?

"Backtrolling" is a term used around the Great Lakes region to describe trolling in reverse. It is used to present your trolled bait/lure at a slower speed than can be obtained by trolling forward. It's usually used for Walleyes and Perch because they do not like to chase a meal down very far or fast.

Since most of these type of fishing boats are open, maybe that's where the name came from.

I have a son who was just accepted at Wake Forest University for the fall semester. As much as it pains me to think about it, I may have to DOWNSIZE this year. Ouch!

There is a lot more boat in that 2+ feet. More storage, bigger hull, and the layout with bait station, etc. is pretty cool.
