Outriggers

Anyone ever install outriggers without having a T-Top?

I used portable telescopic collapsable ones made of fiberglass before my T-top Sport trolls. Inexpensive too, I think they were from Cabela's or BPS.

I have installed outriggers on my boat. (03 210). I have a T-top but the out riggers have nothing to do with it. They are mounted in the Gunnels. I have a pic of the finished. job.

thanks Molar and K9! Dick, this is exactly how I was planning to do it. Did you drill the holes yourself? I'd like to see a side view or closer view of exactly where you did it, plus what you use for the tie down. I don't think the cleat is located in the right spot on my 210. but I could install some little ones.

I've seen people use 10-12 surf casting rods in side the rod holders as a substitute. I can't stand the thought reeling in fish on a boat with a surf caster but it is an option if you need to spread the trolling rigs out a bit.
