Take Care everyone! I'm moving on...

Just wanted to drop a quick note to my friends on Triumphowners.net. Im selling the 190 Bay for a 25' Walk About. I wish Triumph would make the leap into cuddy's. I'd buy one.

Had fun tying knots with all of the old timers.

Anyway, best of luck to all of you and yours.

Fair winds and following seas...

Randy in Va.

Randy,

Well, sorry to see ya leave, but a walk around is a pretty nice set up (twin engine?). Keep the wind at your back. Good luck with your new boat.

Ron

Randy, Good luck with your new boat. Thanks for the Fancy work demo, pictures and instructions. I really enjoyed them and will use them this winter.
You know, you don't have to leave this forum just because you don't have a Triumph. Stick around and let us know how things are going with the new boat and show her to us. I would love to see what kind of fancy work you do to the new boat. A 25' walk around is a good candidate for your knot tying skills. Again, good luck, hate to see you go but im happy for you. Bob

Randy,
I have to agree with Rudderhinge...you don't have to leave the forum just because you don't have a Triumph...your kind of nautical experience would be hard to replace. Just my thoughts. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck to you and yours. Tight lines and screaming drags.

Well, it looks like I spoke too soon. The guy that was going to sell me his 2006Proline 25 walk, for the past 2 weeks, just got cold feet and pulled out of the deal...Lame.

So now, I still have the 190 and have a case of new boat "blues".lol. I need satisfaction!!!

Im going to bump up to a Triumph 215CC. So I'll still be around.

Randy, Can I post a "2007 215CC Wanted" thread in the dealer forum?

Or does anyone know of a site where I can post what I want specifically and dealers can throw prices to me???

Let me know, I want to pull the trigger soon....before mama changes her mind

nocturn, you have been on this site for a while. You know the distance you are willing to drive and you have read how others feel they have been treated by many different dealers.

Shoot, I traveled almost 800 miles and met some really great people when we purchased our boat, but like many, I would much rather purchase closer to home.

You can look up zip codes at the USPS and plug them into the Triumph web site to find the dealers within your driving range, then talk to the ones you choose. In my opinion this makes it all your choice, which it should be your choice in that its your money.

Just my 2 cents.

PS Was out in our 210 today with Putershark and George from Largo FL. We had a great day on our plastic boat. The ride was smooth and no knees or backs were hurting at the end of a wonderful time together. Both got to see our pressure washer in action and the clean up steps we follow. Sure am glad I do NOT have to polish her.

Very happy you are sticking around. I bet you would not like polishing or the gelcoat cracking either.

I'm not following you 100% Vic.

To be honest with you, I just spent the good part of 3 weeks and $300 of gas, thinking I was going to have a new rig just to be let down hard in the end.

At this point, I don't have the time nor patience to go through it all over. I just as soon post what I want in my new Triumph 215CC and have a couple dealers throw some numbers at me, than spend days or weeks traveling here and there... My patience well is dry.

Im actually looking at a New 2007 215CC T.E. for $36K on the net right now.
