Atlanta Boat Show
I got an e-mail about the Atlanta Boat Show that will be held in Atlanta, GA next week, Jan 9-13, 2008. I checked the website to see what vendors will be represented there. There are quite a few that are coming from around the US including boat manufacturers.
I know they are working on it, but it's too bad we still don't have a Triumph Boats dealer here in GA somewhere? Triumph Boats is not listed as being there. Travis Marine use to there but no longer carry Triumph.
I got a ticket to the SaltWater Sportsman's Seminar for Mobile, March 8th for Christmas. Anyone else going?

New Orleans Boat Show
The New Oreans Boat Show coincides with the dates for the Atlanta Boat Show. Ascension Marine will be there, and they sell Triumph Boats. I went to the boat show last year and visited their display. I'll be going again this year, and for those interested, there is a coupon for $2.00 off on the week nights. Travis Boating was the company that I bought my Logic from. I got it from the Jacksonville, FL store. They got it from the Ft. Myers store.
Travis dropped Triumph because Triumph wouldn't make them a "Travis" version of the boats. Atlanta Inboard picked them up for a year, then dropped them. Seems that when owners of the Malibu wake board boats wanted to 'upgrade', the Triumphs weren't expensive enough? They must have been upside down in their ownerships. I was told they they now carry the most expensive center console boat there is....NauticStar is what they have listed....never heard of them? I took a test drive on a 190 Bay with them back in Feb. 2003. I wanted to put down half. They wanted me to put down 10-15% and they could make the payments real nice. Whoa Nelly! Not me! There were a couple of other GA Triumph dealers around and they are gone too.
