Word has it that there were a total of six tornados that touched down in that area. Remarkably, no one was killed and most of those hurt had only minor injuries. Of course, lots of property damage but homes can be rebuilt and cars replaced. Most likely, if anyone from this site was involved, they don't have access to a computer right now anyways and boating is the least of their worries. I wish everyone affected a quick return to normalcy.

Tight lines.

I'm stationed at Ft Lee in the Petersburg area. We had one touch down about 3 miles from base in Colonial Heights. It touched down in the mall area and damaged some stores and overturned a few cars in the parking lot. I think about 23 people injured. Pretty scary because I've never been that close to a tornado and I work in a hangar type bulding that was built in the 50's. I was also worried about my baby(my boat), because she is parked in an open lot.
