Pressure Washer

Just one question about using the pressure washer. I have used my pressure washer for years on my plastic lawn furniture and have noticed that it seems to make the slick finish rough after several washes. Have any of you, that have been pressure washing for awhile, noticed any problems like this with your Triumphs. Thanks.

Now that you all have gone high tec. How about a back pack leaf blower, they work great for a quick dry.

Remember your lawn chair is made of cheap plastic.....They fade anyway after a year and look like doo doo, espeacially if left in the sun.

Thanks Genelie. I have always assumed that the Triumphs were built out of better grade polyethlyene but was not sure. Does the owner manual caution against using a pressure washer or maybe recommend it? Thanks

I have used a power washer for the past three years with no ill effect. I think its the only way to clean a Triumph. I keep my 210CC in a slip so I have to pull it once a month to clean off the growth and with out the power washer it would really take a long time.Just watch out for any graphics or lettering it will take them right off, and the gaskets on the hatches

Ok. Thanks BuckShot. I am still about one year away from buying my Triumph. Just wanted to be sure about the pressure washer because that is the way I plan on cleaning mine.

1/2 bleach 1/2 degreaser

I used a pressure nearly every cleaning - just be careful on the graphs both on the boat and motor. I use a pump sprayer, mix a solution of half bleach and degreaser. I spray the deck and gunnels. After letting it sit for 5 minutes, I use a stiff brush and scrub a little then I turn on the powerwasher and go to it. Forunately my driveway is on a hill and everything drains out the back. For those really tough black mark, I use mineral spirits on a rag to wipe them away. About once a month during heavy use, I clean all of the storage compartments, otherwise I gennerally ignore them except for the fish boxes.
