Meeting other Triumph Owners

Got to spend eight great days fishing with family and new Triumph friends.
Met the calico Kid in Ventura and Buddy- Boated to the channel islands. Rough trip out but nice weather at the island. Calico Kid put us in the right spot and we got to boat some nice bass and a few rockfish.

Nexr owner was our new best friend Dan Barillo out of Morro bay. We had bought our boat from Dan at the boat show. Like any good salesman he said to look him up if we came to Morro Bay. Turns out he meant it. We spent the best two days of our fishing in a long time. Dan took us to the best spots and showed us how it was done. First day 45 rock cod landed kept forty.
Second day towed to Moss Landing and Dan taught us how to Salmon fish. Four nice fish kept one 22 lbs. three released and one lost to a sea lion,.
If you are ever in Morro bay look for a big guy in a 150 cool or look at the fish cleaning station. Great guy and a lot of fun to fish with.
