Triumph Customer Service...Fantastic!

On the old site I posted the story of my problems with my 2002 190 Bay. I bought the boat from Travis Marine with only 10 hours on the boat (buyers remorse). Travis said they'd transfer the warranty for me and the short version is they didn't before closing up in the middle of the night and running away.

Then I discovered a split in my hull where Travis had been storing the boat in a 2 bunk rack. When I called Triumph and spoke to Joe, the Customer Service and Warranty manager, he listened to my tale of woe and promptly transferred the warranty. Then he made arrangements to have my boat picked up at my vacation home in Port Charlote, FL. and trucked back to the factory for repairs.

That was 2 weeks ago. Today he called to tell me the boat is repaired and ready to be shipped back to my house. Oh.... and by the way..... he noticed my windshield and tach had taken some damage in the hurricane and replaced them and then checked my gauges and found they needed attention too. All done. No problems. No complaining. No cost. No kidding.

This is by far the best customer service I've ever had the pleasure to experience. It's why I bought my Triumph and why I'll buy another.

Hi DCIAgent. Thanks for sharing your great customer service experience with the folks at Triumph. I had an occassion to talk with them after buying my 210 a couple years back and I was extremely impressed with their responsiveness and how they took care of me. Hopefully most folks won't have to experience that CS as you did, but it is nice to know there is a company like Triumph standing behind their boats.

And hopefully the boats will get better and better and we'll see more of them on the water as a result of this community of owners, dealers and the good folks at Triumph, as we share our ideas and experiences.

My pleasure Randy. Too many times people take the time to point out complaints, I personally believe in pointing out the positive too. I'm still in awe over the lengths they went to at Triumph. Take care and happy holidays.

Ed

Great story, glad to hear it! I've also spoken with Joe a few times about minor things, always been real helpful!
