"Grime" Removal

I have a 21 that I bought as a Dealer Repo and it was outside before I got it. It had a LOT of grime and dirt from that time outside.

Is there any SUPER cleaning method (cleaner) that will remove the imbeded dirt? I have tried everything that I can think of, and nothing will get it really clean and remove the grime.

We use Roll-Off and it cleans everything. I use it for vinyl, roplene, fenders, the trailer fenders and just about everything else. Most of the time you don't have to scrub. It is biodegradable and doesn't harm the boat. I bought is from Boatersworld.com. Here is the link: http://www.boatersworld.com/webapp/w...uctId=13219908

If you use it in salt water like I do, then few things beat one of those 110 VAC powered 1500 psi pressure washers. Takes me abut 45 min to clean the BMT with one (after my salt-away engine flushing) and then I put the cover back on to keep it all cealn for the next trip. They also use very little water in the process

Roll-Off, FSR (figerglass stain remover) and power washing all work well and won't harm the trailer. You will find even after heavy scrubbing that you can't get the little black spots from the boat until you power wash, you will be amazed how fast they come out when you do.

Also, I find that a good kitchen scouring pad works well (the big green nylon type) and does not hurt the surface of the boat, just be carefull of the decals.

I've not tried the above, but Simple Green works great when you keep up with stains - even the nasty leaf stains I get under the maple tree in October/November.

The power washer has worked for me since I got my plastic boat in '01. use a car wash for years, until i finally broke down and bought my own. Just remember to watch how close you get to the decals.

An just about any good cleaner in a plastic bottle will work. Humm, plastic container - plastic boat. Just about anything in the container won't hurt the boat. Your choice.
Wouldn't use any caustic though.
