Cleaning the hull
I have a 2004 170CC which has a tacky substance located on either side of the decals and running down from the stern rub rail. This matrial does not clean with water with a strong detergent. The material has a slight blue cast and is slowly getting darker trapping road grime.
Can anyone recommend a solvet or cleaning technique to remove this substance without damaging the decals or the soft plastic and rubber of the rub rail? Thank for any help you can provide! |

Cleaning the hull
Dick, Thank you for recommending Laquer Thinner to clean the hull. It worked wonders in removing the tacky stains around the decals and rub rail.
