If you have not purchased the boat yet let me give you a heads up what to look for first inspect every inch of the boat Inside and out the floors of the fish boxes and if the already don't have the thru hull drains, you have them do that at their cost and also the inner hull drain, another thing if their rigging the boat for you make sure you check your hydralic steering system before you even take it off the lot
if it takes more than 1/4 before the engine moves they have not filled and purged the system Trust me I found out about this the hard way ! I love my boat but I had to do alot of work that should have been done by the dealer! JUST take your time and really look over the vessal you plan on purchasing and if you can play& compare dealers until your satisfied goodluck

yeah I went to my dealer today 1 1/2 hrs away and "looked" around think I will wait until school starts and then go back to buy the boat....they had about 7-8 high school kids that couldn't even dress themselves "working" in the shop. a couple of them got to close to a staple gun it looked like they caught them selves in the eyebrow.....Oh believe me the boat will be gone over very carefully....especially since the kids can't even say propylene let alone spell it

Dick is not going to be able to speak to dealers on the west coast. That would be a question for Triumph directly. Dick of course works for Merritt Marine which is a dealer in NC. He is not employed by Triumph or Triumphowners.net. He volunteers his time in our Tech Talk forum to speak to issues with our boats and knows more about them than anyone else I know. But only Triumph can speak to their dealer network. You should call their customer service number on that.

And I would not push to hard about thru hull drains in the floor boxes. I had it done and it caused a water problem on my 210, and I know of another that had issues due to it. I have it fixed now though.
